Course Description
The course will provide an overview of indications/outcomes in complex DMEK cases. Individual surgery preparation shall facilitate/increase DMEK success in those eyes. Limitations for DMEK will be depicted. Videos will cover known challenging cases, e.g. phakic eyes, glaucoma, advanced bullous keratopathy or post keratoplasty eyes, but also unexpected eye conditions. Intra- and postoperative management options will be analysed and discussed.

Educational Objective
I want the learner to be able to estimate the prognosis when performing DMEK on complex cases, to decide on which cases DMEK could still be performed, how to master those complex cases and expect the unexpected during surgery.
